Based on the employer and occupation that individual contributors report
on itemized contributions. Different spellings of the same employer or
occupation are grouped together. Some similar reported occupations are
grouped together. E.g. Realtor, Real Estate Broker, etc.
Contributions reporting neither an
employer nor an occupation are not shown. Retired people often put
Not Employed so we group those together.
Spending by third parties that advocates the election or defeat of a candidate and is not made in coordination with a candidate or campaign committee is termed an independent expenditure. To learn more, see the FAQ.
